Mark SchmidMark SchmidPut-Pocketing hits the UK

TalkTalk has been busy on the UK’s streets lately, and today we can reveal what we have been up to . . . Put-Pocketing! Yes, it sounds a bit strange, but it is the complete opposite of pick pocketing. We’ve been using a team of 20 ex-pickpockets around London to put money directly back into the pockets of the British public without them realising.

It’s another Brighter idea from home phone and broadband company, TalkTalk, to highlight that we really do give people the best value – literally money back in your pocket!

You can see a video of a couple of the team at work below. The other 18 members remain secret!

The activity is taking place now in London (Leicester Square, Oxford Circus, Covent Garden, Westminster, Trafalgar Square and The South Bank, as well as the tube network) and will continue until the end of August when it will be rolled out to other UK cities.

This is for real, so keep your eyes peeled!
