Sylvain ThevenotSylvain ThevenotPlay your part in the Top 10 Broadband Awards 2009

Hot on the heels of our success of the inaugural Top 10 Broadband Awards last year, I am delighted to announce that we’ve been nominated for three categories at the 2009 awards to be held on September 15th.

TalkTalk has been nominated in the ‘Best Value Home Broadband’, ‘Best Broadband & Phone’, AND the new ‘Broadband Innovation’ category. So we are calling upon you our loyal customers to show your support by voting for us!

This year, we will be fiercely defending our title as the ‘Best Value Home Broadband’ provider, which we won in 2008 for our efforts in delivering our customers the cheapest broadband in the market. A year may have past, but we are still best value.

Our second nomination is for ‘Best Broadband & Phone Package’. This recognises the richness of our MyTalkTalk package, which bundles in some great perks such as free local calls anytime.

If you’ve seen our brand new advertising campaign you’ll know that we’re all about delivering ‘brighter’ broadband. So for our third nomination to be for Top 10 Broadband’s new award for Innovation is testament to those bright and brainy people behind the scenes here at TalkTalk!

Broadband growth has surpassed expectations. In the first half of 2009, Britain added 445,000 new broadband lines, reaching 17.8 million households -100,000 more than expected. And as the UK’s biggest home phone and broadband specialist we see these nominations as affirmation of the huge role we’re playing in getting Britain online.

If you think we deserve an award, and want to have your say you can vote for us and take part in a broadband speed test on Top 10 Broadband.
