Andrew HeaneyAndrew HeaneyOur Don’t Disconnect Us petition passes 30,000 signatories

Less than two months since the launch of our Don’t Disconnect Us campaign and we have now gained over 30,000 signatures on our Number 10 petition, making it currently the fifth most-supported petition on the Downing Street website.

With so much support for our campaign, the government must seriously reconsider their ludicrous proposals to tackle illegal filesharing that would see people disconnected from the Internet without proof that they did anything wrong.

The hard work doesn’t end here though; we need all the support we can get. So, if you haven’t already, please visit the Don’t Disconnect Us website to find out more about Lord Mandelson’s proposals and the millions of innocent people that are at risk of losing their internet connection.

We are committed to fighting these plans and protecting innocent internet users. If you support our campaign, please sign the petition and encourage your friends and family to do so too.
