Mark SchmidMark SchmidWin a Sony PSP by playing classic computer games

There’s no doubting that computer games have come along way in the last few years. Games like Call of Duty 2 come with Hollywood-style budgets and bags of controversy.

But there’s no denying the simple gaming appeal of retro games. Alas, I’m old enough to remember playing the likes of Asteroids and Tennis on an Atari console. I even used to think myself pretty good at them, so imagine my excitement when we went live (in colour!) with the games Blocks, Breakout and Asteroids, on our website as part of the launch of our TalkTalk Pro package. I was certain I’d steal victory on the leader board.

Yet, breaking into the top 10 score chart is not proving so easy. Since we’re using TalkTalk Pro super broadband with speeds of up to 24 megs, our version of Asteroids demands lightning reflexes – shooting asteroids has never been so intense!

Don’t take my word for it, try it yourself here. The latest Sony PSP will be given to players that top the chart for Asteroids, Blocks or Breakout. All those in second place will receive £50 and anyone finishing on the final podium, £25.

Why not also check out our TalkTalk Pro package here, which offers superfast broadband speeds at an unbeatable price.

Right, I’m off for another go at Asteroids. See you in the top 10!
