Mark SchmidMark SchmidFree broadband for Armed Forces

British Armed Forces Day

We’ve decided to get behind British Armed Forces Day by giving away a year’s free broadband to those in the Armed Forces and their families. They deserve recognition and thanks, and we can play our own small part by putting together this exclusive deal.

As well as getting free high speed broadband for 12 months, Armed Forces personnel will benefit from a call package that include free evening and weekend calls to any UK landline.

It’s no problem for those who have already got broadband: we’ll help with the switchover process so that they can start saving money straight away.

So, if you know anyone in the Forces who would like a year’s free broadband, send them over to sign up. The promotion is available for a limited time only via broadband.talktalk.co.uk/armed-forces

Terms and conditions apply – please see our website for details. Customers switching to TalkTalk will only need to pay £11.49 per month to cover the cost of the landline rental and £29.99 connection fee.

Also, why not have a look at the British Armed Forces Day website – www.armedforcesday.org.uk – where you’ll be able to find out about events all over the country. The listings also include 300+ events over coming months, so you can find out what’s going on near you. Alternatively, you can have your own party and fly the flag for our Armed Forces.

That is a brill thing to do, i served in Northen Ireland, Canada, Hong Kong and the Falklands many years ago, and one reverse charges call at Christmas cost me £200.00 for 20 Mins. With the age of comms around the world so simple the guys and girls on the front lines and the ones with the kit, can now see their kids grow up instead of a picture 4 weeks old. There are so many ways to keep in contact, Skype etc a good thing for Moral.

This is the 21st century and such provisions are easily made. They should be up and running with schemes like this, at the moment of deployment. The ‘government’ are a disgrace to Britain and her brave troops, and couldn’t care less about frontline conditions. Just so long as politicians have done the bidding of the Bilderburg trillionaire club, and hence put themselves in line for a fat back-hander.
