Clive has been Chief Networks Officer for TalkTalk Technology since April 2008 and joined the company over 11 years ago. He leads a 500+ team of IT/software developers, engineering and service management staff who have built and now maintain the UK’s largest next generation network (NGN).
Clive is fascinated by the rapidly changing pace of technology within the telecoms industry and how user adaptation of the internet is driving innovation.

Stats from our network
Our network is one of the things that TalkTalk is proudest of. We’ve designed, built and now run the UK’s largest unbundled Next Generation Network with over 86% of our customers are on our network. As well as enabling us to provide great value for money phone and broadband services, it also allows us to carry our customers’ voice and data traffic more efficiently. We’re often asked about usage patterns so here are some recent statistics we thought we’d share. |

Help us test our new network security service
Back in November we updated you on the progress of our new Network Security service which we will launch in the coming months. We’re now looking for customers to test the product which includes anti-malware alerts and parental controls. The anti-malware alerts will warn customers if they visit a page that may contain a virus. The software is implemented at a network level so there is no need to download it onto your computer. |
