Christine Mitchell
Head of Content and Strategic Partnerships, TalkTalk Group
Christine Mitchell has been Head of Content and Strategic Partnerships for the TalkTalk Grroup for just over a year. She is responsible for relationships with strategic partners like Phorm, the behavioural targeting ad company, and AOL Europe, who provide portal services for both AOL Broadband and jointly branded service for TalkTalk.
She is looking at future options for TalkTalk Group around entertainment.

The YouTube row
I’m sure you’ve heard over the past couple of days that music videos are being removed from YouTube. This is all because of a row between Google (which owns YouTube) and the Performing Rights Society (previously MCPS–PRS Alliance), the organisation which licenses music and collects royalties on behalf of musicians. This is bound to affect TalkTalk customers, who we know love YouTube, so no doubt many of you will be missing your favourite music. What underlies this row that affects the enjoyment of so many people? |
