2 And the 2011 Digital Heroes Awards regional winners are…
Having whittled down the hundreds of entries for this year’s Digital Heroes Awards to a final 37 from across the UK in October, it was down to the Great British public to decide which projects would win the title of Digital Hero in our 12 regions and collect a £5,000 technology grant. As always, we were not disappointed by the support for our nominees, with tens of thousands of people from across the UK casting their votes in what has been another very competitive year.

She works as the Head of Fundraising at Penny Brohn Cancer Care, one of the leading UK charities that offers free specialist support for people living with cancer and their families.
