Safety is something that we take very seriously at TalkTalk. The panel included Children’s [...] |

Stats from our network
Our network is one of the things that TalkTalk is proudest of. We’ve designed, built and now run the UK’s largest unbundled Next Generation Network with over 86% of our customers are on our network. As well as enabling us to provide great value for money phone and broadband services, it also allows us to carry our customers’ voice and data traffic more efficiently. We’re often asked about usage patterns so here are some recent statistics we thought we’d share. |

Response to Mirror Flawedband article
We were interested to see this article in the Mirror quoting research from Simplifydigital.com which claims that those who live in poorer and rural areas are paying more for broadband. Simplyfydigital say that this is due to companies being unwilling to invest in exchanges unless they know they will make a good return on investment, which they say means rural areas often miss out. |

HomeSafe – a mum’s view
I am genuinely excited by TalkTalk’s new product: HomeSafe. If it wasn’t for Blog Camp, it would have passed me by as I am not one to read the leaflets that are in with my bills, and even now that I have read them, I don’t think they do HomeSafe justice. Incidentally, Blog Camp took place on Thursday 12th May, the week that HomeSafe was launched. |

TalkTalk welcomes the Bailey Review
Today, the Prime Minister published a new report on the commercialisation of children, called ‘Letting Children Be Children’. Prepared by Reg Bailey, the chief executive of Mother’s Union, the report makes recommendations on many areas including pop videos and adult clothing aimed at young girls, but, as an internet service provider, we were particularly interested in its finding that many parents have concerns about the types of content their children can access online. |

Competitors behind the times when it comes to offering better value
We were interested to hear that BT was calling on its competitors to match its prices for landline calls to mobiles because at TalkTalk we more than match them - in fact, we’ve been offering much cheaper rates for some time and are still better value than BT even after this latest price change. |
