TalkTalk opens first ever Customer Experience Centre
Today we opened our first Customer Experience Centre, in Broadwick Street, London. This is the brighter place to try new online products, get broadband advice or simply sit down and surf. On the ground floor anyone can drop in and chat to our ‘broadband experts’ for advice on their service, or just to use the internet. [...] |

TalkTalk launches Don’t Disconnect Us campaign site
We’ve blogged more than once before on just why the Government’s proposals to crack down on filesharing are so hopelessly misguided and I make no apology for doing so again. There are plenty of other people who agree with us and oppose Lord Mandelson’s plans – including consumer rights organisations and MPs. We hope to provide a single online forum which draws all that opposition together. |

Moving home: pack up your boxes not your broadband
Ask anyone who has moved house and they’ll tell you it’s a stressful time, and one part of the hassle is having to cancel all your household bills and re-start them at your new property. Nowadays this isn’t just your gas, electric and TV licence – it’s your broadband too. |

Your questions answered about the Tiscali deal
Last week we announced our intention to purchase Tiscali to make TalkTalk the leading home phone and broadband company. It’s been quite a week for everyone involved and we remain just as excited about welcoming Tiscali to the TalkTalk family. While it has helped reassure Tiscali customers about the immediate future of their broadband service, it has understandably led to people wanting to know more about what happens next. |

Customers switch on to changing providers
Is the telecoms market reaching its saturation point? That's a question that the industry commentators have been asking themselves for a while, as the period of great growth in telecoms comes to an end, leaving a handful of providers owning most of the market. |

Welcoming Tiscali is next chapter in TalkTalk story
You may have read this morning that TalkTalk is buying Tiscali UK to create Britain’s largest home broadband provider. We launched TalkTalk in February 2003 to challenge the existing order and provide better value and more choice. Today’s announcements means we have with over 4.25m broadband customers – over 25% of all UK households. If I look back six years no one could have imagined that a mobile phone retailer would build the largest residential broadband provider in the UK, but our determination to offer incredible value with the latest technology has got us to where we are today. |

Getting the most from your broadband connection
We are constantly talking to our customers about how they use their TalkTalk services. Not only does this help us improve customer experience, but it also gives us insights into potentially new and exciting services. In our latest research we asked customers what factors they thought impacted the speed of their broadband connection - I think some of the results are worth sharing… |

TalkTalk blog
Having been absent for a while, I've decided that with so much going on I should reinstate my blog. I stopped it 18 months ago when we started talktalkmembers as a forum and information point for all our subscribers and people interested in TalkTalk. If you haven't visited it yet, it is a fantastic source of information and tools to get the best from your service. TalkTalk continues to grow strongly with nearly 120,000 people joining the service in the last quarter of 2008. The problems we experienced with too much demand at launch still haunt us as a management team and we have spent the past 12 months really working on improving the quality of the product and the processes that support it. We have been rewarded by seeing the ratings we get from independent tests, steadily move us up the league of suppliers. |
