Matt proves he has The X Factor following tense finale

Last night saw plumber Matt Cardle realise his dream of becoming a recording artist when he was announced as the 2010 winner of The X Factor. With almost 20 million people tuning in to see the final of what the judges agreed to be the best series of the show to dat, Matt emerged triumphant despite facing some of the stiffest competition in recent years.

The X Factor – it’s the final countdown!

We are just one day away from the biggest TV event of the year – The X Factor finals, with around 20 million people expected to tune in. And with Louis the only judge who isn’t represented, we’re in for a very open final.
